Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 August 2026
Nesting Tree respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it. It applies to nestingtree.in and the enquiry forms on it, and it is written to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
The short version. We collect only what you type into an enquiry form, we use it only to answer that enquiry, we never sell or trade it, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site. You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your details at any time by writing to info@nestingtree.in.
1. Who we are
Nesting Tree is a residential developer operating in Navi Mumbai & Panvel. For the personal data described in this policy, we are the Data Fiduciary — the person who decides why and how it is processed. For anything relating to this policy or to your personal data, contact us at info@nestingtree.in or +91 95940 79317.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data you give us through this website. It does not cover information you give us elsewhere — at a site visit, over the phone, through a broker, or during the booking, loan and registration process — which is governed by the documents you sign for that purpose, nor does it cover any third-party website or service you reach from a link here.
3. What we collect
From the enquiry form. We record only what you type in, plus which page you sent it from:
- Your name — required, so we know who we are speaking to.
- Your phone number — required, and how we usually respond.
- Your email address — optional.
- The project you enquired about — optional.
- Your message — optional, and only what you choose to write.
- The page you enquired from — recorded automatically so we know which residence prompted your enquiry.
From your visit. Like any website, this one runs on servers that keep technical logs. Our hosting provider may record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of the request, for security, diagnostics and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you or to identify you.
What we do not collect here. This website does not ask for and does not take payment details, bank details, PAN, Aadhaar or any other identity document, income or financial information, or any of the categories of sensitive data associated with health, caste, religion or biometrics. Please do not put any of that into the message box — if you do, we will delete it.
4. Cookies, analytics and third parties on this page
We do not run advertising trackers, analytics tools, remarketing pixels or social-media pixels on this site, and we do not use cookies to profile you or to follow you across other websites. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
One third party is involved in rendering the page: this site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Links to Google Maps on our project pages open in a new tab — the map is not embedded here, so Google receives nothing from you unless you choose to follow the link. Both are governed by Google's own privacy policy, not ours.
5. Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your enquiry details to respond to you, share availability, pricing and project details, arrange a site visit, and follow up about the residence you asked about. That is the whole purpose.
We process this data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form, as described in the notice shown with it. Where the law allows or requires it, we may also process the data to comply with a legal obligation, to respond to a lawful order, or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
6. How we contact you
When you submit an enquiry, you agree that we and our authorised representatives may contact you by phone, SMS, email or messaging application about that enquiry and about our projects, including where your number is registered on the National Do Not Call registry or an equivalent preference list. You can withdraw this at any time by telling the person who calls you, or by writing to info@nestingtree.in, and we will stop.
7. What we never do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not rent, trade or share your details with other developers or brokers.
- We do not use your data for any purpose you did not contact us about.
- We do not use it to make any automated decision that affects you.
8. Who we share it with
We share your details only:
- with our own sales team and authorised representatives, so they can respond to you;
- with service providers who host our website and database, or otherwise process data on our instructions as Data Processors, under contract and only for the purposes set out here;
- with a bank or housing-finance company, only if you ask us to help you arrange a home loan, and only to the extent needed for that;
- where we are required to by law, by a court, or by a regulator, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim, or to prevent fraud or protect the safety of people or property;
- with a successor entity, if our business or a part of it is reorganised, merged or transferred — in which case the successor remains bound by this policy.
9. Where it is stored
Enquiry records are stored in a database operated for us in India. If a service provider we use processes data outside India, we will do so only where the law permits it and under contractual safeguards.
10. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting purchase, and thereafter only for as long as the law requires us to keep them or for as long as they may be needed for a legal claim. Where you withdraw consent and we have no other basis or legal duty to keep the record, we erase it and ask our processors to do the same. Where an enquiry leads nowhere, we do not keep it indefinitely.
11. Security
Enquiries are stored in an access-controlled database, reachable only by staff who need it to do their job, and the site is served over an encrypted connection. We take reasonable security safeguards to prevent personal data breaches, as the DPDP Act requires, and we keep them under review.
No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and while we work to protect your data we cannot guarantee absolute security, and we do not warrant it. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and each affected person as required by law.
12. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed, correct or complete anything inaccurate, erase your data where we are not required to retain it, withdraw your consent at any time (which does not affect processing already carried out before you withdrew it), or nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.
To do any of these, write to info@nestingtree.in from the email address you gave us, or from another address with enough detail for us to find your record. We may need to verify who you are before we act, so that we do not disclose your data to someone else. We will respond within a reasonable period.
13. Grievances
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer at info@nestingtree.in, marking your message "Grievance — Privacy", and give us enough detail to look into it. We will acknowledge and respond within a reasonable period. If your concern is not resolved, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.
14. Your responsibilities
The DPDP Act places duties on you too. When you use this site, you must give details that are your own, true and complete; you must not impersonate anyone else or submit another person's contact details without their authority; and you must not file a false or frivolous grievance. We are not responsible for the consequences of inaccurate details you give us — including a reply going to the wrong number or address — and where someone else's details are submitted through this site without their consent, that is the responsibility of the person who submitted them.
15. Children
This site is intended for adults enquiring about buying a home. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, we do not use it for tracking, behavioural monitoring or advertising directed at children, and the enquiry forms must not be used by them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to info@nestingtree.in and we will delete it.
16. Third-party links
Where this site links to a third-party service, that service has its own privacy policy and its own practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for. Please read them before giving your details to anyone else.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add a feature to the site that handles data differently. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Where a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will take reasonable steps to tell you.
